This role combines strategic leadership with deep technical execution. You'll architect complex systems (lasers, fiber optics, >5 GB/s pipelines), drive prototyping, and build a top-tier R&D team. Expect to be hands-on in the first year – coding, soldering, integrating, and solving what hasn't been solved before.

BSc / MSc in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, or related fields (PhD preferred).
Proven expertise in:
Electro-optics: lasers, fiber optics, opto-mechanics.
Embedded systems: FPGA, RTOS, microcontrollers, high-speed data architecture.
Signal techniques: PLL, lock-in detection (strong advantage).
Prototyping & integration: hands-on with soldering, system testing, debugging.
Familiarity with ISO 13485 or regulated development environments.
Experience building and leading R&D teams in fast-paced, innovation-driven environments.
